Triple J Announce First J Award Nominees |

 Triple j have announced the first two nominations for the 2008 J Award as well as announcing a new category. (We give the J Award another 10 years before it becomes a full-blown spectacle in which case we can finally forget about MTV. Woo!) Anyway, the first two records in the running for Oz Album of the Year are – drum roll please – The Presets’ Apocalypso and Nick Cave and the Bad Seed’s Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! No surprises there really… 2008 also sees the addition of the Australian Music Video of the Year, which, to be honest, is long overdue. No nominations have been announced yet.
